The Bunker Index 380 CST (BIX 380) - the worldwide daily 380 centistoke (cSt) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - rose by $17.86 per tonne, or 5.0 percent, during the seven-day period between April 10 and April 17, according to Bunker Index price data.

The end-of-week global price was $374.69 per tonne on April 17 compared to $356.83 per tonne on April 10. It is the second consecutive weekly increase, but only the third since February 20.
