The average distillate price in 2014 was $989.20 per tonne, according to Bunker Index price data.

In order to calculate the average price, Bunker Index used all the daily marine diesel oil (MDO) and marine gas oil (MGO) assessment port prices published on the site in 2014.

The distillate average was $55.89, or 5.3 percent, lower than the $1045.09 per tonne figure recorded in 2013. The lowest distillate price in 2014 was $400 per tonne, whilst the highest was $1510 per tonne.
