Taichung 380 cSt deliveries to be suspended

Supplies of 380 cSt are due to be halted as maintenance work is carried out on a delivery barge.

Taiwan's CPC Corporation is due to suspend the supply of 380 centistoke (cSt) marine fuel at the west coast port of Taichung.

The suspension is due to take place on May 21 and to last for approximately two and a half months whilst one of its barges undergoes maintenance.

During this period, the company is expected to continue supplying 180 cSt grade bunker fuel, marine diesel oil (MDO) and marine gasoil (MGO).

Last year, CPC Coporation is said to have sold 1.35 million metric tonnes of bunker fuel at the ports of Kaohsiung, Keelung, Taichung, Hualien and Suao. Taichung is Taiwan's second largest bunker port after Kaohsiung.

CPC previously suspended deliveries of 380 cst fuel at Taichung in December 2012 in order to carry out maintenance on a storage tank at the port.
