New oil risk manager at Global Risk Management


Catherine Marangelli will be tasked with expanding the company's business in Central and Southern Europe and the United Kingdom.



A/S Global Risk Management has announced the appointment of Catherine Marangelli [pictured] as Oil Risk Manager. She will be responsible for advising and selling customised fuel trading and risk management solutions to clients.

Prior to her appointment, Marangelli had been working as a consultant for Global Risk Management in London since January 2013 as oil trader and risk manager at Chelsea Commodities.

Aged 41, Marangelli has more than 10 years’ experience in trading physical and financial derivatives through jobs with oil and financial institutions.

She previously worked as Commodities Sales Vice President at Santander GBM; Commodities Sales Director at Credit Agricole CIB; Global Commodities Supply, Trading & Risk Manager at Rexam PLC; Business Optimisation Manager/Asset Trader & Executive Assistant at BP; Plant & Products Support Engineer, Project Leader at BP Chemicals and Refining Manufacturing; and Business Developer at CEREMAP (Centre d'Études sur le Recyclage des Matières Plastiques).

Fluent in French, Spanish and English, Marangelli will be tasked with primarily focussing on expanding Global Risk Management’s business in Central and Southern Europe and the United Kingdom.
