Global Risk Management names Singapore General Manager

Energy marketing specialist to take over as General Manager in July.

A/S Global Risk Management (Global Risk) has announced that Sales Director Morten Henriksen will be returning to its head office in Middelfart, Denmark, during the month of August.

Henriksen started up the company's Singapore branch almost five years ago. Since then, Global Risk says the office has "expanded considerably".

"Morten has played a big part in making the office a success with his ambitions and excellent business skills," said Hans Erik Christensen, Managing Director of Global Risk Management. "Together with colleagues, he has built up a solid client portfolio for the office."

Global Risk said that Henriksen will continue to be in close contact with Asian as well as European clients and with the Singapore Branch. The day-to-day business management will be taken over by Adam Hashidy, who will be the new General Manager in Singapore as of July 15.

Hashidy is 38 years old and joins Global Risk after spending 6 years at trading house Mitsui Commodity Risk Management in Singapore, where he worked as Vice President, Asia Energy Marketing. His main tasks were to advise and sell oil risk management solutions to ship owners, refineries, trading houses and airlines. Prior to this, he spent several years in the oil and gas trading industry.

"I have great expectations for Adam and I am certain that - together with experienced colleagues - he will contribute to the continued success of the office in Singapore," said Christensen. "I also look forward to having Morten Henriksen back in our office in Denmark."
