The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Rotterdam increased by $28 per tonne, or 5 percent, during the month of July, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at Europe's leading bunker port rose to $590 per tonne this month, up from $562 per tonne in June. It is the second-lowest monthly average of the year so far and only the second sub-$600 per tonne price since February 2011.
