The average global bunker price declined at a slower rate than Brent crude in April 2012, according to Bunker Index price data.

The Brent settlement average fell by $4.05 per barrel, or 3.25 percent, in the month of April. However, during the same period, the BIX global bunker average decreased by $13.09 per tonne, or 1.5 percent, to $889.05 per tonne.
