Bominflot launches Valencia supply operation

Bunker firm commences physical supply service at the Spanish port of Valencia.

Bunker supply and trading firm Bominflot has announced that it has launched a physical supply operation at the Spanish port of Valencia.

The company confirmed that it will be offering 380-centistoke (cst) ISO 8217:2010 quality fuel oil and DMA 0.1 percent marine gas oil (MGO) at the Mediterranean port.

Bunker deliveries will be carried out inside the port by barge. The vessel has the capacity to store up to 3,700 metric tonnes of fuel oil and 330 metric tonne of MGO. Its pumping rate is approximately 450 tonnes per hour and the minimum LOA (length overall) for receiving vessels is 100 metres.

Bominflot said its delivery barge will be loaded from independent tank facilities inside the port of Valencia, for which the company has signed a long term storage agreement.

Bominflot's storage capacity at the tank farm is 30,000 tonnes of fuel oil and 5,000 tonnes of MGO.
