Management changes at Bominflot

Bunker supplier announces management changes at its office in Hamburg.

Bominflot Bunkergesellschaft mbH & Co. KG has announced that after almost eight years as head of the bunker department in Hamburg, Tino Kleinitz has handed over his responsibilities for sales and supply to Rune Larsen.

Kleinitz will continue in his function as Managing Director of the Bominflot tank farm in Hamburg, where the company says he will devote his focus to the implementation of a 'substantial investment programme', which Bominflot has undertaken in the context of the Westerweiterung Harbour Restructuring Programme.

The tank farm will be transformed into a solely throughput-driven terminal, which Bominflot says will enable to optimise the handling of its bunkering business and third party storage activities.

Lars Doring has taken over his new responsibilities as Team Leader Europe/Africa at the business unit Bominflot International Trading, with effect from July 1st 2011, having previously acted as Manager Bunker Sales in Hamburg.

Karsten Kurth has been appointed Manager Bunker Sales. He will be responsible for all physical sales activities of the Hamburg office and will report directly to Rune Larsen.

Rolf Roper has been appointed Head of Risk Management, Bominflot Group. In his new position, Röper will lead the Bominflot risk management teams located in Hamburg, Houston and Singapore with effect of July 1st 2011.
