Bominflot announces joint venture in Peru

Supply venture launched for bunker deliveries in the port of Callao.

Bominflot Group and Peru Marine Oil S.A.C. - a business extension of Servamain Ecuador Bunker Supplies Y Transportation - have announced the launch of a joint supply venture for bunker deliveries in the port of Callao, Peru.

Servamain was established in 2002 and has since developed into a prominent supplier in the growing Ecuadorian market.

Bominflot is a leading independent bunker supplier and trader with 35 years of experience operating from 35 locations worldwide. Its business portfolio covers activities ranging from the supply of bunker fuels to lubricants, cargo trading and other shipping services.

"This venture combines Bominflot's international experience with Servamain's high operating standards. It extends Bominflot's physical position in South America," Bominflot said in a statement.

In Callao, 380-cst (RMG 380, ISO 8217:2005) will be supplied through the Libertad E - owned by Peru Marine Oil - with a capacity of 3,000 MT and a pumping rate of 2 x 500 cbm/hour.

"This expansion at the west coast of the Americas represents a further logical step in the Bominflot Group's core strategy of extending bunker delivery services to its international customer base throughout the globe," Bominflot added.
