Swedish firm wins Fujairah terminal contract

Automation contract is estimated to be worth US$ 6.6 million.

Sweden's Consilium AB has been awarded an order of automation for an oil terminal in Fujairah. The order value is approximately 45 million Swedish Krona (US$ 6.6 million).

The contract includes comprehensive design, installation, test and commissioning of electrical installations, instrumentation and control, and monitoring. The system comprises power generation and management, and storage control and management for the terminal operation.

The customer of the contract is Italian engineering firm Exterran Belleli. Vopak is the end user and owner of the terminal.

This is phase 6 of the comprehensive project and Consilium has been engaged in most of the previous stages.

"The positive development for the automation business segment continue," said Ove Hansson, CEO for Consilium. "We enhance our position in the industry and have reasons to expect further expansion during the coming years."
