New role for former BarCap fuel oil trader


Barclays Capital fuel oil trader to head up Singapore-based oil and products trading team.

Former Barclays Capital fuel oil trader Shaun Lim has been appointed by Japanese investment bank Nomura.

Lim, previously a senior fuel oil trader at Barclays Capital in Singapore, has been hired as head of Nomura's Asian oil and products trading team, also based in the Asian city-state.

The annoucement follows Nomura's apointment of Iain Lawson as head of commodities structuring in Asia in January. He was previously employed with Citigroup in Singapore.
