Ship-Service offering 1.0% LSFO


Leading Polish firm confirms that it has begun supplying 1.0% sulphur fuel oil.



Leading Polish bunker supplier Ship-Service S.A. has announced that it has begun offering low sulphur fuel oil with maximum sulphur content of 1.0 % in Poland.

In a statement released today, the company said that it is supplying 30-700 centistoke (cst) marine fuel grades according to latest ISO 8217 standards.

The announcement comes in anticipation of the upcoming change in Sulphur Emission Control Area (SECA) regulation, which will come into force on July 1st 2010.

The sulphur limits applicable will be reduced from 1.50% to 1.00%, being further reduced to 0.10 % from January 1st 2015.

Ship-Service is a physical bunker supplier in a number of Polish ports including Gdansk, Gdynia, Swinoujscie, Szczecin, Kolobrzeg, Darlowo, Elblag, Hel, Police, Ustka and Wladyslawowo.
