Bakri appoints former Chemoil manager


Singapore-based firm appoints Cem Saral as General Manager.



Singapore-based Bakri Trading Pte Ltd. has appointed Cem Saral as its General Manager.

Saral was previously employed as Trading Manager for leading bunker supply firm Chemoil in Singapore.

Jeddah-headquartered Bakri International Energy first established operations in Singapore in 1999 under the name Bakri Trading Asia.

The company was soon awarded “Approved Oil Trader" (AOT) status from the Singapore Trade Development Board and achieved an annual turnover in 2001 of $250 million through its bulk activities in fuel oil.

The business is currently involved in a variety of oil and gas activities which include trading, shipping and project development.
