O Bunkering and Marafi Services have announced their merger in a move that is intended to accelerate growth in the maritime supply chain by bringing together the two businesses’ capabilities and improving operational efficiency. The firms said this would help strengthen reliability and integration in service delivery across Omani ports.

The announcement also thanked Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for its continued support in developing the logistics sector.

O Bunkering and Marafi Services stated that the merger is aligned with Oman Vision 2040 and is expected to support national talent development and increase in-country value.

The two companies also noted that the step would reinforce Oman’s position as a global logistics hub.
