Bunker Index launches Global Bunker Index (Press Release)


Average Global Bunker Price (AGBP) launched for all fuel grades on the Bunker Index website.



Bunker Index is pleased to announce the launch of the Global Bunker Index (AGBP), the new worldwide benchmark pricing service for the marine fuel industry.

Launched today, the Global Bunker Index (AGBP) is calculated as the Average Global Bunker Price (AGBP) for all fuel grades at all ports published on the Bunker Index website. The price will be published on a daily basis at the following times:

16:00 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) / UCT/UTC (Universal Coordinated Time)
17:00 BST (British Summer Time) / WET (Western European Time)
18:00 CET (Central European Time)
19:00 EET (Eastern European Time)
11:00 EST (Eastern Standard Time)
08:00 PST (Pacific Standard Time)

The latest Global Bunker Index prices will be posted on the home page of Bunker Index for both subscribers and non-subcribers with a full summary available at the following location: Global Bunker Index Summary Page to subscribers only.
