BMS United Bunkers says it is currently looking to employ a bunker trader trainee in Pireaus, Greece. Details about the position have been provided below.

Description

As Bunker Trader Trainee for our office in Piraeus, you are expected to follow a structured talent development program during the first 6 months of your employment, which will give you an overall understanding of the business and tools to develop your trading skills. You will from day one be involved in the daily tasks on the trading floor and be linked to a senior trader, who will guide you through the trainee period.

You are expected to be a fast learner who is not afraid to speak up, but even more important, to listen! You will become a part of a financially strong and cultural-wise open-minded group, where we celebrate diversity and each employee has a high degree of personal independence.

Daily tasks

- Purchase & sales of bunkers, worldwide

- Cold calling - customer acquisition

- Vessel tracking

- Support

- A confident & strong individual, preferably with experience with sales or telemarketing

- Strong sales drive, team spirit with a high level of motivational and supportive skills

- Creative and open thinker, with the abilities to see and develop market opportunities

- Strong, innovative mindset and a positive thinker; challenges instead of issues; solutions instead of problems

- Shipping education

- Fluent English and preferably Turkish and/or Greek
