Rotterdam 380 cSt drops 9.8% in a week


A summary of weekly Rotterdam 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) at the port of Rotterdam was at its lowest end-of-week level of the year so far on Friday, according to Bunker Index price data.

The Rotterdam 380 cSt bunker price was down by $24.00, or 9.8 percent, to $221.00 per tonne on August 21 compared with $245.00 per tonne on August 14. It is the seventh consecutive end-of-week decrease and the tenth in a row without an increase.

The $24.00 decline is also the most significant since January 9, when the end-of-week Rotterdam 380 cSt price was $28.50 lower than the previous week.
