BIX 380 price summary: week 32


A summary of weekly global 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The Bunker Index 380 CST (BIX 380) - the worldwide daily 380 centistoke (cSt) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - fell to its lowest end-of-week level in over six months between July 31 and August 7, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global 380 cSt bunker price dropped by $18.14 per tonne, or 5.5 percent, to $311.29 per tonne on August 7 compared to $329.43 per tonne on July 31.

Friday's price is the lowest end-of-week figure in 27 weeks - since January 30. It is also the eighth decline in a row and the eleventh in the last twelve weeks.
