Singapore 380 cSt up 10.6 percent in May


Highest monthly average since November as 380 cSt price jumps $36 in May.



The average monthly price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) in Singapore rose for only the third time in ten months in May, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the world's leading bunker port increased by $36, or 10.6 percent, to $375 per tonne this month, up from $339 per tonne in April. It is the highest monthly average since November 2014.

May saw Singapore's best-selling fuel grade record a $40 daily low-to-high price range of $358 to $398 per tonne.
