The average monthly price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) in Singapore fell for the eighth time in nine months in March, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the world's leading bunker port declined by $27, or 7.7 percent, to $324 per tonne this month, down from $351 per tonne in February.

The March decrease follows last month's rise of $72 per tonne - the first increase in eight months and the biggest since February 2011.

March saw Singapore's best-selling fuel grade record a $27 daily low-to-high price range of $300 to $358 per tonne.
