The Bunker Index 180 CST (BIX 180) - the worldwide daily 180 centistoke (cSt) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - rose by $11.72 per tonne, or 3.1 percent, during the seven-day period between March 20 and March 27, according to Bunker Index price data.

The end-of-week global price was $395.98 per tonne on March 27 compared to $384.26 per tonne on March 20. It is the first weekly increase in the worldwide bunker average since February 20 following four successive end-of-week declines.
