Aegean appoints Director of Strategic Development


Experienced bunker professional joins Aegean Marine Petroleum's New York operation.



Aegean Oil USA LLC., the New York-based bunkering operation of Aegean Marine Petroleum S.A, has appointed Gregg Schwartz as Director of Strategic Development.

Schwartz has been involved in the marine fuel industry for over 15 years. Prior to joining Aegean, he was employed as Vice President at Chemoil Corporation in White Plains between August 2010 and June 2014.

Between 2001 and 2009, Schwartz worked as Trading Manager at Chevron. He was also East Coast Fuels Manager at Fuel and Marine Marketing (FAMM) between 1998 and 2001.

Schwartz has a master's degree (MBA) in finance from St. John's University, New York, and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY).
