Endofa launches truck supply operation in Honduras

Bunker firm establishes physical supply operation in Central America with joint venture partner Uno.

Bunker firm Endofa has today announced that it has established a bunker supply operation in Honduras in conjunction with its joint venture partner Uno - part of Grupo Terra.

According to Endofa, product will be delivered to a storage facility in Puerto Cortés - a town located on the north Atlantic coast of the country - and supplied via a multi-truck setup aided by a flow-metered mobile pumping unit to ports along the entire coast.

Endofa said that it will be supplying ISO:2005 spec RMG 380 and RME 180 product tested and certified by Intertek, as well as DMA-spec marine gas oil (MGO).

Kenn Soendergaard, a partner at Endofa, added that the company eventually plans to carry out deliveries using tankers inside the country's ports or at anchorage, utilizing a setup similar to Endofa's other physical supply operations.

"Our product is competitive with Houston and Panama on both price and quality," commented a jubilant John Rolfo, who is in charge of Endofa's operations and sales in Honduras.

Soendergaard said that Endofa was looking forward to developing the market with its joint venture partner Uno, providing "a service not previously offered in this region."

"The positive energy this will add to the shipping industry in this area and to the local community is a game changer," concluded Soendergaard.
