China's leading fuel oil exporter revealed

Fuel oil export figures for the month of November are released.

Hangzhou Customs recorded the highest fuel oil export figure for the month of November, according to China's General Administration of Customs.

Data for last month reveals that Hangzhou Customs handled 245,035 tonnes of fuel oil exports last month, which accounted for 26 percent of the country's total fuel oil exports.

Nanjing Customs was ranked in second place, followed by Shenzhen Customs, which overtook Shanghai Customs, the data showed.

Fuel oil exports recorded by Customs in the north of the country represented 18 percent of China's total in November, down from 40 percent the previous month. This was said to be due to the shortage of bonded fuel oil at local terminals.

In total, China exported 949,941 tonnes in November. The figure was 13 percent higher than in October, the data showed.
