The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore increased at a higher rate than ICE Gas Oil in the month of June, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average rose by $14.15 per tonne, or 1.65 percent, to $873.89 per tonne in the month of June. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average increased by $20.00 per tonne, or 2.34 percent, to $876 per tonne.

Between June 2012 and June 2013, the monthly MGO average in Singapore rose by $56 per tonne, or 6.8 percent, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average increased by $34.02 per tonne, or 4.1 percent.
