Bunker price volatility fell to its lowest level since November during the month of May, according to Bunker Index price data.

In a comparison of low-high differentials for the daily BIX global average, May proved to be the least volatile in six months with a low-high differential of $12.86 per tonne.

The lowest daily global bunker price last month was $780.06 per tonne recorded on May 2, whilst the highest price was $792.92 per tonne on May 7.
