Singapore 380-cst average falls $7 in May


World's leading bunker port records the lowest monthly 380-cst average since December.



The average monthly price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Singapore decreased for the third consecutive month in May, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the world's leading bunker port declined by $7 per tonne, or 1.1 percent, to $603 per tonne this month, down from $610 per tonne in April.

May's monthly 380-cst average is the lowest since December 2012, when the price dropped to $599 per tonne - falling below $600 per tonne for only the second time since January 2011. This month's $7 decrease is also the smallest since December 2012.
