Michael Schaap joins Argos Bunkering


Experienced trader returns to the Netherlands to head the Argos Bunkering sales team.



Experienced bunker industry professional Michael Schaap has joined Dutch physical suply firm Argos Bunkering B.V, where he will head its sales team.

Schaap has worked in the marine fuels industry since 2004. He spent the first three years of his career in bunkering employed as a bunker trader for oil major Shell, where he specialized in the ARA region.

Between July 2007 and March 2011, Schaap worked as a bunker trader for Dutch bunker supply company Oliehandel Klaas De Boer B.V..

Schaap then moved to Singapore, where he worked as trading and marketing manager for Peninsula Petroleum Far East Pte Ltd. up until July 2012. His last post was as marketing manager for oil cargo trading specialist Energy HK (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
