Trader leaves bunker department

Experienced bunker trader is assigned to new role within the company.

Effie Kalimeri, marine fuels trader at Aegean Marine Petroleum S.A, has announced today that she is leaving the bunker department.

In a message to industry colleagues, Kalimeri said that she will remain at the company, but will be working in another department.

"Today was my last day in the bunkering department of Aegean. From Monday onwards I will still be in Aegean but will have a different task," Kalimeri said.

"I just wanted to thank all of you for your great support and help and to tell you that it was a real joy and pleasure for me, working together with all of you.

"Maybe sometime in the future we meet again, but until then I will miss you all," Kalimeri added.

Kalimeri began working at Aegean in November 2007. She has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
