Trader joins Dan-Bunkering Monaco


Monaco office expands trading team with the appointment of experienced oil industry professional.



Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M. has announced the appointment of Christoph Riecken as bunker trader.

Riecken, aged 30, has a degree in Business Administration and six years of experience in the oil industry, having previously worked for oil major BP Oil in London, Rotterdam, and Bochum.

Riecken commenced his new role as bunker trader on 29th August 2011. He is German, fluent in English and also speaks some French and Dutch.

Commenting on the appointment, Jesper Møller Christensen, Managing Director Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M. said: "Christoph has been involved in many different sides of the oil industry during his more than six years with BP, and especially his significant experience on the operational side is expected to benefit him greatly while contributing to the skill set of the Monaco team. As such the appointment of Christoph is an important step towards building an office with traders of varying experience and background.”
