Dan-Bunkering office 'off to a great start'

Positive first month for Dan-Bunkering's new operation in Monaco.

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd., part of United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group and one of the world's leading bunker trading companies, has said that its new business operation in the principality of Monaco is "off to a great start".

The new business, Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M., was launched at the start of February 2011 and is said to have had a positive first month. In a statement, Dan-Bunkering said: "The office has been open for a few weeks only, but is already fulfilling all expectations, and has been very well received within the bunker business."

The office is headed by Managing Director Jesper Møller Christensen, who was appointed at the start of the year ahead of the launch. Working alongside him is experienced trader Olga Balaban, who was promoted to the role of Senior Bunker Trader and Sales Manager in January.

The company said that it expects to recruit additional personnel to work at its Monaco office in the near future.
