Dan-Bunkering expands Monaco team

Bunker trading firm announces new addition to its Monaco-based operation.

Bunker trading firm A/S Dan-Bunkering - part of United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group - has announced the appointment of Sandra Parodi as Accountant/Sales Supporter at its Monaco-based operation, Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M.

Parodi is 32 years old and is originally from Cannes, France, where she started her career as an accountant. She also has seven years of international experience having previously worked in London.

"We are certain that Sandra with her background and expertise will be a valued asset for our newly opened office," Dan-Bunkering said.

Dan-Bunkering launched its Monaco office in February 2011. The office is headed by Managing Director Jesper Møller Christensen, who was appointed at the start of the year ahead of the launch. Working alongside him is experienced trader Olga Balaban, who was promoted to the role of Senior Bunker Trader and Sales Manager in January.

Commenting on the launch of the office in March, Dan-Bunkering said that the new Monaco operation was "off to a great start". In a statement the company said: "The office has been open for a few weeks only, but is already fulfilling all expectations, and has been very well received within the bunker business."
