First deliveries for Lukoil in Constantza

Lukoil Bulgaria Bunker carries out first deliveries as a physical supplier at the Romanian port of Constantza.

Lukoil Bulgaria Bunker has announced that it has begun carrying out its first deliveries as physical bunker supplier at the Romanian port of Constantza.

Speaking to Bunker Index, Bunker Manager Rosa Dimitrova said that the company had already carried out five deliveries to customers at Constantza, using its newly-acquired barge Navi, formerly Unicom Energy.

Dimitrova confirmed that Lukoil Bulgaria Bunker is now able to supply 380-centistoke (cst), 180-cst and low suphur marine gasoil (MGO) at Constantza. The company is also looking to expand it existing storage capacity at the Romanian port in order to meet future demand.

Dimitrova said that Lukoil was currently reviewing its logistical infrastructure, which is expected to involve the company renting additional storage at Constantza in order to limit the need to transport product from Varna, Bulgaria.
