NYMEX to launch nine fuel oil contracts


New fuel oil contracts are scheduled to be launched in less than three weeks' time.



CME Group announced Wednesday that the New York Mercantile Exchange will launch nine new fuel oil futures contract, Reuters reports.

The new contracts are set to be launched on Sunday March 7th for trade date Monday March 8th with trading on the NYMEX floor and via clearing through CME ClearPort.

The contracts, which include both European and Singapore fuel oil, are subject to the rules and regulations of NYMEX and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, CME said in a statement.
