VPS to run marine fuel management course in Singapore

Two-day programme in November covers fuel handling, testing and decarbonisation rules, including a laboratory tour.

Marine fuel testing and inspection company VPS is offering a fuel management course in Singapore, aimed at giving marine professionals a broader understanding of fuel-related issues across all key areas.

According to VPS, the programme will cover fuel production, transfer, handling and management, as well as laboratory testing procedures and an overview of decarbonisation legislation and regulations affecting the sector.

Participants will also be given a guided tour of the VPS laboratory, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how fuel testing and analysis are carried out.

The course is scheduled to run on 2–3 November at the company’s premises at 27 Changi South Street 1, Singapore. VPS says spaces are limited and invites interested parties to apply via support.sng@vpsveritas.com to secure a place.
