Malik Supply has announced the appointment of Priya Choudhary as a bunker trader at its Dubai office.

Choudhary, who joined last month, comes from a sales and petrochemical background, and in her last role was employed in Dubai as sales manager at Oleo Energies — a Canadian firm that specializes in the manufacture and blending of automotive, commercial and industrial lubricating oils.

"Coming from a petrochemical background, Priya had long been interested in the bunker industry and saw Malik's reputation, market presence, and long-standing history since 1989 as a strong foundation for taking the next step in her career," Malik stated in a LinkedIn post.

Commenting on her appointment, Choudhary said: "It's a great feeling to join a company with such a strong reputation and supportive culture. The encouragement I've received so far has only strengthened my motivation to develop and succeed in this industry."

Headquartered in Denmark, Malik Supply A/S operates as a trader and supplier. The company is part of Malik Group, which also includes physical supplier Malik Energy A/S.
