Dan-Bunkering merges with Australia Bunkering


Company to be renamed Dan-Bunkering (Australia) Pty Ltd on September 1.

Dan-Bunkering has announced that as from September 1, the group will merge with Sydney-based Australia Bunkering Pty Ltd.

The Australian marine fuel specialist has been in business for more than a decade, managed by Lena Johnston, and will now be renamed Dan-Bunkering (Australia) Pty Ltd.

With the merger, Dan-Bunkering will expand its presence to another continent, with offices in 12 different locations worldwide.

Lena Johnston, General Manager, said: "With the upcoming 2020, we feel it is the perfect timing to boost our global footprint and improve our services even further to our customers. The merger will give us increased access to stronger purchasing power, improved worldwide knowledge and services in all time zones."

Claus Bulch Klausen, Dan-Bunkering's Head of Operations/Senior Vice President, remarked: "The new office is perfectly in line with the growth strategy of our group, and we are very excited to have a physical presence in Australia and to have Lena and her experienced local team in Sydney supporting our strategy."
