Bunker Holding Group (BHG) announced on Friday that it has launched a new brand designed to strengthen its physical global footprint.

BHG's physical supply businesses around the world will now operate under the brand name Bunker One.

Commenting on the news, Peter Zachariassen, Global Director Physical, Bunker One, said in a statement: "We have decided to strengthen our global physical presence to grow our range of offerings to our valuable clients worldwide. This venture will unite all present physical supply locations within our group under one name and one brand. We are confident that this move will support our operational flexibility and efficiency even further. Therefore, Bunker One will also become the platform from which we will expand our world-wide physical presence."

BHG also explained that the move supports its strategy in key regions to develop its global physical infrastructure in order to drive long-term growth and sustainability.

"Every Bunker One client will get a unique value proposition and a professional service experience founded on strong local knowledge and expertise mixed with a global coverage," BHG said.

"In this specific business segment, the value of local presence, quality of products and not least compliance has become more valuable during recent years. This means that customers can rest assured that no matter where in the world they choose a Bunker One product, they will get the same high standards and flexibility. BHG puts much effort in operating in the region for the region on its own premises to ensure the highest possible customer experience," BHG added.

Looking ahead, BHG said that "in the near future" it will be expanding its presence even further with the addition of more physical supply locations.

Currently, Bunker One's list of physical delivery points covers Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida in the US; all Brazilian ports; Cartagena and Buenaventura in Colombia; Montevideo, Service Zone, Alpha Zone and Delta Zone in Uruguay/off Uruguay; Ashdod, Ashkelon, Eilat and Hadera in Israel; Singapore; and European supply locations in Denmark, Sweden, Faroe Islands, Svalbard, Norwegian Sea, Barents Sea and Kara Sea.

The operations are being coordinated by the company's offices in Mobile (Alabama, US), Montevideo, Binyamina (Israel), Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Concon (Chile), Gothenburg, and its three Denmark offices - in Esbjerg, Aalborg and Middelfart.

According to BHG, Bunker One's physical supply operation currently delivers 3.8 million tonnes per year.
