Moscow to host oil spill meeting


Round table to focus on oil spill response activities in Russian waters.



Information agency PortNews IAA has announced that it is to hold a round table meeting dedicated to the development and implementation of oil spill response activities in Russia.

The event, scheduled to be held on 16th December, is also supported by the Russian Ministry of Transport, the Association of Sea Commercial Ports and the Association of Shipping Companies.

The round table discussion, named "OSRA (Ocean Shipping Reform Act) plans in RF (Russian Federation) water area in respect of shipping companies and on-shore terminals", will take place between 09:00 and 14:00 in the hall of the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport of the Transport Ministry, located in Moscow.

Participation is free of charge, but preliminary accreditation is required.
