Bominflot expands into Panama


Supplier announces capability to deliver bunkers in Panama, with immediate effect.



Bunker supplier and trader Bominflot has announced that it is now able to supply marine fuels in Panama, with immediate effect.

In a company statement, Bominflot said "Currently, we are able to offer IF380 cSt, also MDO/MGO on the Balboa side only, utilizing fully Major-approved barges. We expect to be able to extend our service to the Cristobal side shortly, as well as adding other IFO grades."

Bominflot has requested that enquiries for marine fuels in Panama be made either to Robert Lake at the company's offices in Houston or your local Bominflot office.

Earlier this year, the Bominflot Group announced that it had also started supplying bunker fuel in Kali Limenes, Greece.

Its representative office, Bominflot Hellas Ltd., began selling 380cst(RMG), 180cst(RME 25) and marine gas oil(DMA) in April using a supply barge with a capacity of 2300 metric tonnes of fuel oil and 600 metric tonnes of marine gas oil. Deliveries are being carried out by barge and ex-pipe.
