Dan-Bunkering confirms management changes

Nicolai Troen replaces Rune Andreasen as Sales Manager; Andreasen is named Group Offshore Manager.

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. has today confirmed the new managerial positions of Nicolai Troen [pictured right] and Rune Andreasen [pictured left].

Nicolai Troen has been employed as Sales Manager at the company's office in Copenhagen. Troen commenced his career at Dan-Bunkering's head office in Middelfart, Denmark, where he served as a trainee in 1998. In 2007, he was appointed Senior Bunker Trader, and was later promoted to Team Leader. Then, in 2012, he was named Sales Manager at the company's office in Middelfart - a position he has held up until his latest employment.

Commenting on the news, Henrik Zederkof, CEO, remarked: "We have now had the pleasure of Nicolai's extraordinary sense of bunker trading and personnel management for several years in our head office where he has done a tremendous job. Thus, I am very pleased that our department in Copenhagen will now also benefit from Nicolai's capacities and I look very much forward to observing the development for both the office as well as Nicolai in the future."

Also in Copenhagen, Rune Andreasen has been named Group Offshore Manager.

Up until the appointment, Andreasen had been Sales Manager in Copenhagen, which the company says he carried out "to great satisfaction of both management and employees".

Andreasen started his career with Dan-Bunkering back in 1999. During his time at the firm he has worked abroad and, in 2010, was named Senior Bunker Trader & Team Leader before taking up the position of Sales Manager in Copenhagen in 2013.

"Over the years we have been extremely satisfied with Rune's efforts in Copenhagen. To stay in line with our strategy, we decided to create a position as Group Offshore Manager with the objective of managing and increasing our focus on the offshore market. Rune was the obvious choice for this position due to his long-standing experience and expertise within this particular field, thus I am very pleased that Rune accepted this challenge, and I look forward to developing and increasing our market share within the offshore segment even further with Rune in the lead," Zederkof remarked.
