Dan-Bunkering trader moves to Connecticut

Kasper Rosenberg has transferred from Dan-Bunkering's head office in Denmark to Stamford, United States.

Dan-Bunkering (America) Inc. - part of A/S United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group - has announced that, as from May 1, 2016, Kasper Rosenberg [pictured] has transferred from Dan-Bunkering's head office in Middelfart, Denmark, to the company's office in Stamford, Connecticut.

Rosenberg joined the Middelfart office as a bunker trader in 2013, having previously worked as a shipping agent within the USTC group for two years.

Commenting on his career development at the company, Dan-Bunkering said in a statement: "During the years, Kasper has built up a strong knowledge about the shipping and bunker market in general; however, he is in particular in possession of a proven track record trading with clients in the US."

The Stamford office was established at the beginning of 2015. With the arrival of Rosenberg, the office is now staffed by two people. Mads Buchwald is Sales Manager at the branch.

In his profile on the company's website, Rosenberg says: "What appeals to me in the shipping industry is that two days rarely look the same. I find it very interesting to meet new people and come across different cultures and personalities. Danish, English, the Scandinavian languages and a little German are among the languages I speak. In my leisure time, I spend time on road cycling and socializing with friends."
