Petrobras: No enquiries due to Olympic Games


Petrobras's bunker department will be closed this week on Thursday and Friday.



Marine fuel supplier Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) S.A. has today confirmed that its bunker department in Rio de Janeiro will be closed on the following dates this week, due to the Olympic Games.

4th August - The day before the opening ceremony.

5th August - The day of the opening ceremony.

Rio de Janeiro, the host of this year's Olympic Games, will hold a number of municipal 'Olympic Games public holidays' during the event, which is to take place between Friday 5th August and Sunday 21st August.

The holiday dates are as follows:

5th August - Municipal Public Holiday, Rio de Janeiro.
18th August - Municipal Public Holiday, Rio de Janeiro.
22nd August - Municipal Public Holiday, Rio de Janeiro.

Petrobras has advised customers to carry out any bunker nominations today, 3rd August, prior to the two-day office closure.
