Singapore 380 cSt average up 12% in March


380 cSt average rose for the first time since October at the world's leading bunker port.



The average monthly price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) in Singapore rose for the first time since October in March, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the world's leading bunker port increased by $19, or 12.0 percent, to $177 per tonne this month, up from $158 per tonne in February. It is the highest figure since December.

March saw Singapore's best-selling fuel grade record a $35 low-to-high differential, with a price range of $155 to $190 per tonne. The lowest price of $145 per tonne was seen on March 2 and 3, whilst the month's highest price of $190 per tonne was quoted on March 10.

The month ended with an assessment price of $179.00 per tonne, up $27.00, or 17.8 percent, on the $152.00 per tonne recorded on the last trading day of February.
