Fujairah records sub-$180 380 cSt average in December

380 cSt average falls for the second consecutive month at the Middle East's leading bunker port.

The average price of 380 centistoke (cSt) fuel oil in Fujairah decreased by $49, or 21.8 percent, during the month of December, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the Middle East's leading bunker port fell to $176 per tonne, down from $225 per tonne in November, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $70 low-to-high price differential with a range of $150 to $220 per tonne.

The $176-per-tonne average is the lowest since Bunker Index began publishing 380 cSt indices for Fujairah in April 2008, and the first below $200 per tonne during this 93-month period (between April 2008 and December 2015).

Please find a table below outlining average monthly Fujairah 380 cSt prices between April 2008 and December 2015.
