Hapag-Lloyd revises Benelux fuel surcharges

Surcharges are effective from November 25th.

Container shipping line Hapag-Lloyd AG has confirmed that it has revised its fuel surcharge for inland haulage to and from the Benelux region (which covers neighbouring countries Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg) as follows:

- Fuel surcharge for mode of transport 'combined waterway' (truck and barge) to 12 percent.

- Fuel surcharge for mode of transport 'truck' to 8 percent.

The revised surcharge rates are effective from November 25th.

Hapag Lloyd's last revised combined waterway surcharge for the Benelux region was 15 percent. It was announced by the company on April 20th and became effective on May 20th.
