Glander International Bunkering hires Dubai-based trader


Carina Baekkegaard previously worked in Dubai for Royalty Petroleum Trading FZE.



Glander International Bunkering has recruited Carina Baekkegaard [pictured] as Senior Bunker and Lubricant Trader at its Dubai office.

Prior to joining Glander International Bunkering, Baekkegaard worked in bunker sales for Dubai-based Royalty Petroleum Trading FZE between October 2011 and December 2014.

She studied international business at Copenhagen Busines School, Denmark.

In a statement, the company said: "Ms. Baekkegaard joins Glander International Bunkering with strong technical and physical supply knowledge. Carina has been in the bunkering industry for several years and is extremely familiar with the Middle East and various international ports. Speaking Danish, English and German allows for seamless communication with various areas of the globe. Carina was born in Denmark and has lived in the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom."
