Glander International Bunkering hires experienced trader


Victoria Nektheden Johansen has worked for a number of bunker trading companies in Dubai and London.



Glander International Bunkering has announced the appointment of Victoria Nektheden Johansen as bunker and lubricant trader.

Nektheden began working in the bunker industry in 2006. She was employed as a bunker trader at OW Bunker Dubai between August 2006 and August 2010, and worked as a trader at KPI Bridge Oil London between August 2010 and June 2012. She then returned to Dubai, where she worked as a bunker trader for World Fuel Services between February 2013 and April 2014.

Nektheden studied psychology at Jacksonville University in Florida and represented the university's golf team.

In a statement, Glander International Bunkering said: "Victoria Nektheden Johansen has been in the bunker industry for over 7 years and has great experience in physical supply and trading. Mrs. Johansen has worked in London, Singapore and the United States and has spent a large portion of her career working from Dubai. Victoria has an immense skill supplying in the Middle East as she has made the region her specialisation. While spending a majority of her life in Dubai, Victoria is from Sweden and can speak English, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian."
