Bunker Index reveals the average bunker price in 2014.



The average bunker price in 2014 was $746.72 per tonne, according to Bunker Index price data.

Bunker prices decreased by $53.42 in 2014 compared to the previous year, which represents a fall of 6.7 percent on the $800.14 per tonne figure recorded in 2013.

In order to calculate the average bunker price, Bunker Index took into account the daily port assessment prices for all the major fuel grades during the course of the year.
